Registration takes under two minutes. The part that determines whether a first withdrawal clears in two days or two weeks happens afterwards, and most new account holders skip it. This page covers the form field by field, where code SWIFT belongs, and which three documents to upload before playing rather than after winning.

An unexpired government photo document. A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months. A payment method registered in the same name as the account. All three will be requested eventually; having them ready turns a later bottleneck into a formality.
Three decisions that are easier to make before the form than after
Registration itself is trivial. The consequential choices are made in the surrounding minutes, and two of them are difficult to reverse.
Province and age
Ontario residents cannot open an account at all. Elsewhere the threshold is 19, or 18 in Alberta, Quebec and Manitoba. The province declared here also determines which responsible-gambling rules apply to the account. See the provincial matrix.
Bonus or clean cash
The welcome offer attaches a 30× playthrough to the deposit as well as the bonus. Under sticky terms the player's own money becomes locked alongside the bonus funds. Declining is straightforward before the first wager and awkward afterwards. Read the terms first.
Account currency
CAD is available and should be selected at this stage. Account currency is not normally changed after creation, and an account denominated in euros converts on every deposit and every payout.
The registration form, field by field
The sequence below reflects the live form on the operator's own site. Every field feeds the identity check that runs later, which is why accuracy matters more here than speed.
-
Open the form on the operator's own domain
The Register control sits in the left-hand navigation of the official site. Several look-alike domains carrying the same brand name and logo also present a Register button; a genuine page shows Skill On Net Limited and licence number MGA/CRP/171/2009/01 in the footer. How to distinguish the official domain.
-
Legal name, date of birth, email
The name entered must match the photo identification exactly, including middle names where they appear on the document. Date of birth is checked twice — once against the provincial age threshold now, and again against the document during verification. A transposed day and month is one of the most common reasons a verification file is returned.
-
Address, province and account currency
The address must match the proof-of-address document that will be submitted later; a recent move means using the address on the bill, not the newest one. The province selection drives eligibility and age rules. CAD should be chosen here.
-
Username, password and an optional deposit limit
The form offers a deposit limit at this point. Outside Ontario it is voluntary; operators registered in Ontario are required to collect one before real-money play begins. Setting it now is a routine account configuration, comparable to a card spending limit, and reductions later take effect immediately while increases require a cooling-off period.
-
Bonus code SWIFT and the terms
The promotional field accepts code SWIFT for the 100% match to C$100 with 50 free spins. Leaving it blank produces an account with no attached wagering obligation. Free spins, where claimed, must be used before deposited funds. The welcome offer can be claimed once every 72 hours across the operator's entire network of brands rather than once per site.
Uploading documents before the first win, not after it
Verification is the single largest source of complaints attached to this operator across both independent databases. The requirement is not unusual — it follows from the Malta licence and applies to every regulated brand. What varies is timing. A file submitted at registration is typically cleared during ordinary business hours; a file submitted in response to a withdrawal request joins a queue behind a payout that is already pending.
- Government photo identification — passport, driving licence or provincial photo card. Unexpired, all four corners in frame, no glare across the data page.
- Proof of address — utility bill, bank statement or government correspondence dated within three months, showing the name and address on the account.
- Proof of payment method — a card image with the middle digits masked, or an e-wallet screenshot showing the registered name. It must belong to the account holder.
| Reason a file is returned | How it is avoided |
|---|---|
| Document has expired | Check the expiry date before photographing, not after submission |
| Corners cropped or edges cut off | Photograph on a flat contrasting surface with the whole document visible |
| Glare or shadow across the data page | Use indirect daylight rather than a flash |
| Address on the bill differs from the account | Update the account address before uploading, or use the bill matching the registered address |
| Payment method in a different name | Only methods belonging to the account holder are accepted — a shared or family card will fail |
| Session flagged for VPN or proxy use | Complete uploads on an ordinary connection; a masked IP routes the file to manual review |
Complaint files record already-verified accounts being asked for further documentation once a substantial withdrawal is requested. This is standard anti-money-laundering practice under the Malta licence rather than a refusal, and typically asks for evidence of source of funds — payslips, a bank statement or a tax document. It is faster to supply than to contest.
Registration failures and what each one indicates
Six failure modes account for most unsuccessful registrations. Two of them are working exactly as designed and have no workaround.
| What appears on screen | Underlying cause | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Email address already in use | An earlier account exists, possibly at a sibling brand sharing the same account framework | Recover the existing account rather than creating a second one — duplicates risk both being closed |
| Registration unavailable in your region | Geolocation places the session in Ontario or a restricted territory | None. Ontario residents should consult the AGCO register of permitted operators |
| Details could not be verified | Name or date of birth inconsistent with the address record | Re-enter using the exact spelling on the photo document |
| Account creation blocked | An active self-exclusion is on file, at this brand or across the network | None during the exclusion period. This is the control functioning as intended |
| Connection appears to use a proxy | VPN or proxy detected at sign-up | Register on an ordinary connection; masked traffic breaches the terms and can void a balance |
| Bonus code not recognised | Code entered after the deposit was confirmed, or the 72-hour network window is still open | Contact support before wagering; retroactive application is rarely granted |
Ontario residents: the account will not open
Ontario has run a closed market since April 2022. Every private operator serving the province must register with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and contract with iGaming Ontario, and Swift Casino has not done so. A Malta licence carries no authority inside the provincial boundary.
The practical consequence is absolute rather than partial: no registration, no bonus, no gameplay. Geolocation enforces it, and attempting to defeat that control breaches the terms and exposes any balance to forfeiture. The AGCO publishes a register of operators permitted to serve Ontario, and that register — not a review site — is the authoritative list.
The AGCO's public register of registered gaming operators lists every site legally permitted to accept Ontario accounts. Those operators are also bound by stricter onboarding rules, including a mandatory deposit, loss or time limit set before real-money play begins — a protection that does not apply in the rest of the country.
What happens in the first hour after the account exists
Three actions follow registration, in this order. Reversing the order is what produces the delays documented in the complaint files.
Upload the three documents
Before depositing, not before withdrawing. This is the entire difference between a routine payout and a contested one.Decide on the bonus, then deposit
The choice is made in the cashier at the moment of the qualifying deposit. Deposit methods and CAD minimums · what the playthrough costs.Confirm the withdrawal route works in both directions
Prepaid vouchers accept deposits but cannot receive payouts, and card payouts depend on the issuing bank. Checking this now prevents a reversed cashout later.
Registration questions answered
How long does Swift Casino registration take?
The form itself takes under two minutes across five short steps. The account becomes usable immediately, but it is not fully unrestricted until identity documents have been reviewed. Submitting those at registration rather than at the first withdrawal is what keeps the total time short.
Which documents are required for verification?
Three: an unexpired government photo document with all four corners visible, a proof of address dated within the last three months matching the registered address, and proof that the payment method belongs to the account holder. A fourth request for source-of-funds evidence is routine after a large win and reflects anti-money-laundering obligations under the Malta licence.
How long does verification take?
Documents submitted proactively are generally cleared within a business day. Files submitted alongside a withdrawal request take longer because they queue behind an active payout, and complaint records show cases extending to several days or more where a document was returned and resubmitted. Every rejection restarts the clock, which is why file quality matters more than submission speed.
Where is bonus code SWIFT entered?
In the promotional field on the registration form, or in the cashier before the qualifying deposit is confirmed. It cannot reliably be applied afterwards. The associated offer is a 100% match to C$100 with 50 free spins on Book of Dead, claimable once every 72 hours across the operator's whole network of brands.
Can an account be opened from Ontario?
No. Ontario operates a ring-fenced market requiring registration with iGaming Ontario and the AGCO, which this operator does not hold. Geolocation blocks registration from an Ontario location, and no bonus or gameplay is available. The AGCO register lists the operators permitted to serve the province.
Why was a registration rejected?
The common causes are an existing account on the same email — including at a sibling brand sharing the account framework — a geolocation reading inside a restricted province, a mismatch between the declared name or date of birth and the address record, an active self-exclusion, or a VPN detected during the session. Only the first and third are fixable by the applicant.

She began as a payments operations specialist at a Canadian payment processor, where she handled chargeback and settlement disputes for merchants in high-risk categories, and later ran anti-money-laundering casework for an operator licensed in two European jurisdictions.
That background shapes the way she reads a casino. Where most reviews start with the bonus, she starts with the cashier: which routes actually pay out, how long an internal review takes in practice, and what an identity check asks for once a withdrawal crosses a threshold. She treats a licence number as something to verify against a public register rather than something to reprint.
She writes from Vancouver and covers the Canadian market specifically, which means keeping provincial differences in view — the ring-fenced Ontario market, the age thresholds that vary by province, and the payment rails that only exist in this country. She holds no commercial relationship with any operator covered on this site.
